5 WOMEN THAT CHANGED THE WAY WE THINK

I love this honest blog.  I think we forget sometimes that the power of good and evil transcends races, one isn’t better than another and that is the lesson they taught us by the legacy these women left behind. We have within our power to make changes either for good or bad. And that is our lesson.
Of late we’ve heard blacks curse whites and whites curse blacks but evil is not about race. There is beauty and good in all of us as well and that is what we should strive for.

  1. Timely post. We are currently living in Chicago ( we leave in two days) but have been here a year and a half. The statistics for death by gunshot here is astounding and sobering. This August was the worst summer ever. Sadly the racial issues seem hrightened and worse than ever.

A few nights ago, I had to call 911 due to a raucous altercation on the street. The voice on the other end asked ” are they black, Latino or white?” Seriously?? Racisl profiling by 911? I replied ” I have NO idea.” Next question… “Do they have weapons?” Answer: “I have NO idea.”

    1. It is so sad. I wonder if the race determines who they send out, a black or white cop? With white cops under fire, it may be one way of insuring that if a black person gets killed by a black then there is less backfire? I found some interesting statistics online regarding that. Interesting. Thanks for your comment and for reading.

      1. I am still pondering that question. I know I was and still am dumbfounded by it.
