What an amazing flower. It reminds me of the Saguaro cactus in Arizona that blooms for one day.
You have to stay up late to enjoy the opening of this extraordinary cactus, which is shaped like a majestic waterlily. If you are an early riser and usually early to bed – this plant is not for you!

Ah, thanks. I’ve had a couple of surgeries, but I’m good (cataracts) and will try to get to writing again soon. Right now, I’m just reposting, but soon.
